Andy Parks

Lead pastor

Pastor Andy has 18 years of full-time ministry experience. He and his wife Michelle were lead pastors for 10 years, and then for the past eight years Andy then served the Assemblies of God Kansas Ministry Network as the Executive Assistant to the Superintendent and the Network Outreach Director.

In 2016, Andy and Michelle made the transition back to the pastorate where they currently serve Cross Point. They both have a love for the local church and the surrounding community. Pastor Andy has a unique style of blending humor, passion, Biblical truth and relevancy into his messages.

Andy and Michelle have a passion for reaching people who are not yet followers of Jesus, those disenfranchised with the church, and the community. Their desire is to guide others into a relationship with Jesus through the Father's presence and discipleship.

Brendan Kendall

worship pastor

Pastor Brendan was raised in the home of Pastor's Ken and Brooke Kendall in the Assemblies of God. Before he could even speak, his parents believed the Lord had an incredible call of music and worship on his life. Growing up, Brendan served in multiple capacities under his parents ministry throughout Kansas and Maryland. Through this time of serving, Brendan felt called to worship ministry at the age of 12 while serving as Youth Worship Leader. In his high school years Brendan began to develop his call through the AG Fine Arts Festival and was blessed to receive the National Award of Merit for Male Vocal Solo in 2010 and 2012. Brendan followed the call to ministry to attend Central Bible College in 2012 and later graduated from Evangel University in May 2016 with a Bachelors of Science in Recording Engineering and Worship Leadership and a minor in Biblical Studies.

Pastor Brendan joined the Cross Point team in August 2016 assuming the role of Creative Arts Pastor. His vision and heart for worship is one that welcomes any and all who desire to enter His presence. Pastor Brendan seeks to help facilitate an environment through music, scripture, and visual elements to assist anyone to pursue the Lord greater. His heart believes that the Church as a body is called to a life of sacrifice - that sacrifice being obedience - and that obedience begins with worship.
